1. Turn the Jet-Fueler on and allow to complete startup

  2. Unscrew the 4x thumb screws that hold the chamber cover in place. Set the screws and chamber cover aside.

  3. Use a 2.5mm hexagonal driver to loosen the two (2) M3x25mm screws which secure the syringe clamp.

  4. Once fully loosened, remove the syringe clamp cover by pulling straight back towards yourself.  Set the clamp cover and screws aside.

  5. Using thumb and forefinger, loosen the syringe plunger thumb screw at the left side of the syringe until it is dangling (it is captive in the pump slider and cannot be removed).

  6. From the Operations Screen of the Jet-Fueler, select the yellow 'Cycle' button under the Pump category

(If done correctly, you will hear the Jet-Fueler make a noise, and you should now be able to observe a gap between the syringe plunger key and the pump slider)

  7. Use a 2.5mm hexagonal driver to remove the two M3x12mm screws which secure the valve to the pump housing, set those screws aside.

  8. Using both hands, lightly grab the syringe and valve and pull/angle them out of the chamber until you have room to unscrew the syringe by gripping the silver hub near the valve.

  9. Disconnect the syringe from the valve body by rotating counterclockwise (when viewed from the plunger end of the syringe).

  10. Remove the new plunger and syringe body from the box.

  11. Carefully insert the syringe plunger into the syringe body by pushing along the direction of movement, pushing the plunger at an angle or twisting it may break the syringe glass.

  12. Twist the syringe body onto the valve body until the Luer-Loc is fully seated, there will be a gap of only about 1mm between the silver face of the syringe body and the black housing of the valve when it is fully tightened.

  13. Re-install the valve and syringe by pushing straight in until fully seated; tighten the 2 screws that hold it in place.

  14. Re-install the syringe clamp cover, and the 2 screws that hold it in place being careful to not overtighten the clamp. OVERTIGHTENING CAN CRACK THE SYRINGE GLASS

  15. Using your fingers, make sure that you align the new plunger key with the pump slider that will be connecting to it.

  16. From the Operations Screen of the Jet-Fueler, select the yellow 'Reset' button under the Pump category.

  17. Observe how the pump slider is now nearly flush with the new syringe that was properly aligned.

  18. Tighten the syringe plunger thumb screw into the new syringe.

  19. Re-install the plastic faceplate and the 4 thumbscrews that hold it in place.
